The Sales Department studies the market, nurtures customer relationships, obtains bid invites, compiles estimates, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, secures contract documents once a project has been awarded, reviews contracts, manages the project until the design phase begins. All administration, contracts, pricing, and contract documents are handled through this department.
Upon graduation from Henry Ford College with degrees in Fire Science and Liberal arts, Mr. Maus has been involved in the fire sprinkler industry since 1984. Starting in the field installing pipe, he has worked "up the ladder" and has experience in every facet of the business, from stocklisting, design, hydraulics, coordination, project management, estimating & sales, and operations management.
His extensive background and commitment to excellence has allowed FDFP, Inc. to lead the industry in cutting edge technology and unsurpassed customer satisfaction. Mr. Lipford has more than 35 years of experience in the fire protection industry involving installation, listing, designing, estimating and construction management with a proven track record for completing capital projects within budget, on schedule, and with an exemplary safety record. Todd has worked with many professional project teams all across the Southeast. Types of projects include Pre-Action Systems for Freezers, Deluge Systems in Tank Farm Areas, Wet Systems in Warehouses, Dry Systems in outdoor or unheated spaces, underground fire loops, fire pump systems and water storage tanks. He has taken jobs from the ground stage to completion in all types of environments and applications. Over the years he has worked closely with Insurance Underwriters and Local Authorities to obtain design requirement s and approvals prior to installations. This has shown to be of great benefit in making sure that our projects stay on schedule and all Underwriter/Local Authority requirements are met. With Todd’s eight plus years of sprinkler design experience he is able to communicate with both the design team and field crews to make sure all projects are done per code requirements and stay within scheduled completion dates.
